
The tabletops are identical in shape and size ! I found this illusion to be so strong that I've opened it in Photoshop to see for myself ... And, well, that doesn't happen a lot.

Of course if these were real tables seen in true perspective, and they were then positioned side by side and equidistant from the viewer they would be vastly different. It is the actual two-dimensional shapes on the page (paper) which are the same. A simple visual trick.... and a good one. I too needed to prove it to myself. Ten minutes I will never get back......
