The black dots only appears in the side of your eyes. I think your perifal vision misinterprets the white dots and changes them to black.

i saw the white dots, then i also saw the white dots turn into black dots and disappear.

I think this is due to the fact that their is a whole lot of black that overwhelms your eye receptors. This makes the dots appear to apear and disapear
