This is one of the most amazing illusions. Keep staring at the blue dot in the middle of the picture. The blue dot will shrink slowly and then disappear completely ! This is due to the color receptors in your eyes getting tired.

My color receptors are mighty; that blue dot never went anywhere. The outside edges of the large green circle, however, did get fuzzy and fade out. And then I had this ghostly magenta afterimage haunting me for a while :-)
